Important Port Usage Guidelines :

USB A 3.1 port

• Please update your iPad Pro to the latest iPadOS software. This ports won't work if your iPad Pro is running on iOS
• In case your external HDD/ pendrive is not getting detected, please check whether the file storage format.of your USB drive is compatible with the Operating System of your USB C device
• exFAT is the recommended file storage format as it is compatible across MacOS, Windows and iPadOS
• NTFS file storage format works fully with Windows and in read-only mode in MacOS. NTFS doesn't work with iPadOS
• High capacity external drives (like 1TB or more) may not get detected by HyperDrive as they require high power to operate and HyperDrive hub can only deliver limited power to USB devices due to power requirements of other ports
• USB 3.1 port will not charge an iPad

HDMI

• HDMI supports max resolution upto 4K @ 30 Hz refresh speed. iPad Pro only supports 60 Hz video output so max resolution supported on iPad Pro is 2K@60Hz through HyperDrive HDMI port
• HDMI port of HyperDrive will only work if it is directly connected to the HDMI port of monitor using a direct HDMI to HDMI cable
• For other USB C devices, HDMI port will only work if the device supports video out over USB C port (Displayport Alternate Mode).

• All compatible USB C devices with HyperDrive may not support charging over USB C port as they may have their own proprietary charger or different power requirements.
